Sphere in Natural Agate – Contrasts of Fire and Forest
This fascinating sphere was carved from a rare block of natural agate, characterized by an unusual color combination: dark green, gray-blue, ochre, and burnt orange blend into irregular bands, mineralized fractures, and translucent inclusions. The lines and internal movements seem to evoke volcanic landscapes, primordial forests, or alchemical maps.
Each side of the sphere tells a different story: some display linear veins and sedimentary layers, while others show more chaotic and fluid structures, with patterns generated by ancient geological processes. The surface has been polished to a mirror finish, revealing the full complexity and depth of the material.
