Description from the seller

An exceptionally beautiful Georgian tilt-top table or tripod in surprisingly good condition. It stands on a thick, solid, folding top with beautiful markings, resting on a turned central leg, the design of which is immediately recognizable as being from the third quarter of the 18th century.
Below three flared toes, these are also made of solid oak with previous old restorations.
Brass closing mechanism, works well.
Heavy quality, works well, and does not wobble.
Hand built wax finish.
England Ca. 1750-1775

Afm:
H = 67 - 107 cm. (height - folded height)
D = 69 - 70 cm. (smallest - biggest)

Recently thoroughly inspected for loose parts of construction and veneer. No live woodworm found as of 16/12/2025.
