Directoire demi-lune sidetable dating from 1775–1810, in ebony wood, in antique Directoire style.
Description from the seller
Directoire side-wand table on three legs with bird of prey heads tapering into goat legs.
Half-round leaf, halfway along the blackened legs, another half-moon-shaped leaf.
Under the massive mahogany leaf, a 'cuff' with three 'diamond'-shaped inlays of padoek and holly, with wooden inlays, the bottom of the cuff features a repetitive small diamond/block-shaped inlay strip.

Recently thoroughly inspected for loose parts of construction and veneer. No live woodworm found as of 16/12/2025.
