Description from the seller
Exclusive Art Deco vase from the renowned manufacturer Boch Frères Keramis (La Louvière, Belgium), crafted in glazed ceramic with a characteristic crackled finish typical of the period.
Geometrized floral decoration in relief, in bold orange and black tones on an ivory background.
corresponding to decor D.1173, one of the most attractive schemes from Keramis production of the 1920s-30s.
The piece features an elongated oval silhouette of great elegance, with excellent proportions and a strong sculptural presence, perfect for both a specialized Art Déco collection and high-end interior design. The colors remain vivid, and the craquelure is uniform, with no visible restorations; only the slight signs of normal use typical of nearly a century-old ceramics (please review and specify the actual condition).
The base clearly features the seal 'KERAMIS – MADE IN BELGIUM' alongside the decoration number 'D.1173', a guarantee of authenticity and origin. A highly decorative and collectible piece within the best Belgian ceramics from the interwar period.
