Description from the seller
Like new, exhibited at Dubai Design Week 2023
Made in 2023
Material: German ash wood.
Made in Germany
- Dimensions: 29 x 29 x 49 cm, weight: 19 kg
- Color: Ash / Red Mix
Limited to 12 pieces worldwide
The random constellation of squared wood pieces leaning diagonally against each other reminds the designer of the world's steepest slope tower, Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi, built by RMJM Architects and ADNEC, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The HAPPENS pouf results from a play with the concept of inclined towers. Four tilted and skillfully balanced stool legs create a stable seat on the hand-stitched fabric covering. The heavy stool sculpture can be easily transported throughout its life thanks to the leather handle, which is firmly anchored in the solid wood.
Wood: Oiled ash, sourced from sustainable forestry in the lower mountains of Germany.
Seat padding: bicolored mixed wool fabric with chevron pattern, light-resistant and eco-certified (100% polyester, Trevira CS).
Dragonne: full-grain leather handle, vegetable-tanned and dyed.
