Antique English tilt top tripod table dating from the second-half of the 19th century.
The table is made of solid oak and features a circular top, a turned central column and three elegant cabriole legs.
The original birdcage mechanism is present and allows the tabletop to tilt vertically, making it practical and decorative.
The wood shows a rich, warm patina.
Period, circa 1850-1900.
