Obverse: Dr. Ignaz Seipel 1876–1932. Reverse: Republic of Austria 2 Schilling

Austrian commemorative coin dedicated to Dr. Ignaz Seipel, a politician and Catholic priest who served twice as Federal Chancellor of Austria in the 1920s. The obverse features his profile facing right along with his full name and the dates of birth and death. The reverse displays the coats of arms of the various regions of Austria surrounding the denomination and the legend of the republic. Minted in silver during the First Republic, this issue is highly representative of the interwar period. The piece is encapsulated and certified by NGC as MS63 grade, guaranteeing its authenticity and good condition.
