Important pair of antique statues in solid wood, depicting two warriors/guardians of the Maharaja's palace, finely carved and hand-painted with original pigments. The statues represent a male and a female figure, both dressed in traditional Indian attire, richly decorated, with a ceremonial staff. The expression, facial details, jewelry, and clothing demonstrate high craftsmanship quality and carry strong decorative and symbolic significance. Ideal as entrance statues, prestigious ethnic decor, scenography, or collectibles.
