AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Offered is a large tooth from one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs to have ever lived. The Carcharodontosaurus is closely related to the Tyrannosaurus rex. It could grow up to 13 meters long with a weight of 15 tons. This cutting tooth measures 6.4 cm. The serration on the side has largely been preserved, as seen in the photos. The tooth has a beautiful light to dark brown/orange patina. The tooth shows a slight pathology. The tip of the tooth was compressed in the layer and was broken and glued.
This tooth comes from the Kem Kem Formation in southeastern Morocco. Its age is Late Cretaceous, approximately 93 to 100 million years old. Brought back from my penultimate trip to the Kem Kem in Morocco in March 2024. Good luck with your bidding.
