Germany, Weimar Republic, 1921 50 Pfennig emergency issue, graded MS65 by NGC.
Description from the seller
Germany. Berlin. 50 Pfennig. 1921.
- Value: 50 Pfennig.
Year: 1921.
Inscriptions: On the obverse, DEUTSCHES REICH with the value 50 PFENNIG and the date at the bottom; on the reverse, SICH REGEN BRINGT SEGEN accompanied by a stylized wheat stalk.
- Grade: MS65 (NGC).
Emergency currency belonging to the monetary emissions of the Weimar Republic in the period immediately following World War I. The design stands out for its strong symbolic charge: the wheat ear represents work, self-sufficiency, and hope for economic reconstruction, while the inscription 'Sich regen bringt Segen' conveys a moral message of effort and reward very much in line with the social context of the time. The specimen features an attractive uniform silver appearance, with notable original shine, sharp reliefs, and very clean fields—outstanding characteristics that fully justify its high grade of MS65 and make it a particularly attractive piece within this popular series of Weimar pfennigs.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I ship from Spain. This means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs, and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.
