Description from the seller
Germany. Berlin. 3 Mark. 1922.
Value: 3 Mark
- Year: 1922.
- Inscriptions: DEUTSCHES REICH with the value of 3 MARK and the date on the obverse; REICHSVERFASSUNGSTAG · 11. AUGUST · 1919 surrounding the republican eagle on the reverse.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).
Silver coin issued by the Republic of Weimar to commemorate the German Constitution of 1919, known for the variant with a circular legend around the eagle. The obverse features clear and balanced typography, with the denomination prominently displayed and well-defined characters, while the reverse shows the republican eagle with outstretched wings, symbol of the new German state after the fall of the Empire, surrounded by a commemorative legend that reinforces its political and historical significance. The specimen retains an attractive original shine with a light, uniform patina, well-defined reliefs, and reasonably clean fields, with small contact marks consistent with a grade of MS63, making it a representative and highly valued piece within the commemorative issues of interwar Germany.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I ship from Spain. This means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs, and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.
