Antique oil lamp in cast brass (copper alloy) in the Betty Lamp style, dating to the 19th century (Postmedieval culture), with a total height of 23.8 cm and a tank height of 2.9 cm.

Antique small oil or fat lamp made of cast brass (copper alloy), in the style of a classic Betty Lamp, related to the British-Scottish Cruisie / Cruisie Lamp tradition, from family ownership.
Such lamps were used in the 18th and especially in the 19th century as simple, reliable sources of light in households, workshops, or stables, powered by fish oil, animal fat, or later, vegetable oil.

Fixing of the cover plate via wing/knurled screw.
Suspension via chain and stable hook.
