Praktica MTL 5 B SLR with Auto Chinon MC 1.7/55mm lens (M42 mount) for 35 mm film, produced around 1985–1989, in good physical condition and tested and working, with a clear finder, functioning light meter, smooth film transport, a mechanical self-timer, and an included LR44 battery.

A Practica MTL 5 B reflex camera with Auto Chinon multi-coated 55mm F/1.7 lens
The camera is aimed towards the end of the DDR between 1985 and 1989.
A reliable manual reflex camera with a good lens. The lens has mold spots on the edges, purely cosmetic.
The camera is in good and working condition.
The viewfinder is clear, the light meter works well and is indicated by a needle in the viewfinder (the LR44 battery is included), the transport runs smoothly, and the shutter makes a nice, solid sound.
It provides shutter speeds from Bulb to 1/1000 second.
with a mechanical self-timer
The lens focuses smoothly, is scratch-free, and the aperture operates like new, clicking nicely into place and being clean. For the aperture, there is an M (manual) and an A (auto) setting.
