Description from the seller

Superb bronze bracelet made of a ribbon forming a flat semicircle on the inside and featuring three strong ribs on the outside, in the middle and on both edges. It narrows at its ends and finishes by twisting twice around itself in a spiral shape.
Magnificent green patina and rich in colours (cuprite), superb example!


- Late Bronze Age / beginning of the Iron Age, Koban Culture, North Ossetia.

- Dimensions: 58 x 44 x 27 mm

- Dating: 1100 - 400 BC.

Provenance: French private collection.

- Literature: Before the Scythians, Prehistory of Art in the USSR, p. 172, Fig. 161

- Condition: Superb condition, magnificent patina, intact!
