Sacred Tibetan conch shell Dung-Dkar used as a musical instrument in monasteries for ceremonies and spiritual rituals to represent prosperity, protection, and spiritual victory. It is one of the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism.
It is made with a large right-handed shell (Turbinella pyrum) decorated with Tibetan silver, an alloy with a low silver content, hand-embossed and adorned with turquoise and red stones, featuring engravings of Buddhist and floral symbols.
