AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Circa 1890. Cristallerie Legras / Montjoye in St Denis, France.

Exceptional, sublime, imposing, large vase.
Fontainebleau, 39 cm in height, made of blown glass, complemented by a pretty hexagonal neck dusted with gold, with an opacified background of the famous.
"Spring Green" in a slightly satin, mass-colored gradient, with a hot enamelled relief decoration of beautiful large Parrot Tulips, very delicately hand-painted, blooming at different stages of flowering, surrounded by matching foliage with fine branches highlighted in gold leaf, all in the purest Art Nouveau style of the period, harmoniously combined in a very beautiful color harmony within a highly poetic setting.

Remarkable and exceptional artisanal work of high quality, with very thick enameling featuring subtle color nuances by this famous glassmaker of the late 19th century, which in this piece can stand alongside other great names in glassmaking from the early 20th century such as Émile Gallé or Daum Nancy.

Rare height of 39 cm with a very beautiful volume, featuring a base width of 15 cm. An imposing, quite solid and heavy vase.

Rare example of the 'Fontainebleau' model, of which the present size is the largest in the series; most of these vases were produced at a size of 25cm. Magnificent decoration featuring this superb design of large Parrot Tulips, perfectly referenced and illustrated in the renowned catalog 'Legras Maître Verrier.'

In very good condition for its great age (over 130 years!).
Magnificent imposing large collectible vase by Legras / Montjoye from the late 19th century, which will undoubtedly beautify and elevate your interior and inspire admiration from your guests!

Beautiful mark from the cut of the blower's cane at the clamp under the base, a sign of high-quality traditional artisanal craftsmanship.

A very beautiful collectible piece from the Art Nouveau period of the Nancy school.
Daum Nancy, Gallé, Le verre Français, Schneider...

Quite heavy professional shipment over 3kg, very carefully packed and secured, guaranteed, custom-made with tracking number and insurance. See my reviews :)
