Appearance

There are minor scuffs and small marks from normal use, but overall the exterior is very clean considering its age.

Optics

A number of very small fungus spots are faintly visible across the internal elements even under normal lighting. However, as shown in the sample photo, these do not affect the image quality in any way.
We inspect optics using extremely strong industrial lighting that would be unsafe to look at directly, allowing us to describe internal conditions more accurately than typical Japanese sellers.

Function

The zoom and focus rings feel slightly heavy, and due to the age of the lens, autofocus may not lock perfectly in some situations. These characteristics are typical for lenses from this era.
Despite its age, this lens remains fully operational, and functional copies of this model are rarely found in Japan. Pentax mount versions are especially scarce, making this lens particularly valuable in the used market.
