Description from the seller
HMS Bounty is a ship famous for one of the most notorious mutinies in history. On April 28, 1789, the crew, led by Lieutenant Fletcher Christian, took control of the ship from Captain William Bligh. Bligh and 18 of his loyal companions sailed over 3,500 nautical miles to reach a safe location, while the mutineers settled in Tahiti or Pitcairn Island. In 1790, Captain Bligh, sailing on HMS Pandora, captured the mutineers.
The coin is authentic. It is possible to issue a Certificate of Authenticity.
