History / Overview
The Lancia Appia is a car produced by Lancia from 1953 to 1963 in three series. It was designed as a comfortable vehicle with a lively engine thanks to its low weight, with fully opening doors for easy access for four people and comfort on long journeys. It also demonstrated sporting qualities by participating in numerous competitions, thanks in part to its light weight.
EXTERNAL
The bodywork is an old restoration from many years ago. It is in generally presentable condition, but shows normal signs of use and aging, along with some surface corrosion. The doors and hood open and close easily, and the car is generally presentable. Polishing and detailing have been completed. A thickness gauge test revealed no signs of damage.
The underbody is an old restoration and can be improved in some localized areas with some interventions; it shows no traces of accidents detected.
Internal
The interior shows some signs of wear, but is complete and usable. The dashboard is complete with all the original period instruments. A sanitization treatment has just been completed.
MECHANICS
The engine was started after a long period of disuse, and the car
It starts, the brakes are not blocked, and the gears engage properly.
However, the car remained unused for a long period.
