Nicephorus III Botaniates. 1078-1081. AE follis (24.5 mm, 3,93 g, 7 h). Anonymous Class I follis. Constantinople mint, Struck ca. 1080-1085. anepigraphic, Nimbate bust of Christ facing, wearing pallium and colobium, raising hand in benediction and holding scroll; IC - XC to left and right / anepigraphic, Latin cross with x at center; globule and two pellets at each extremity; in upper fields, crescents, in lower fields, floral ornaments. SBCV 1889. Very Fine.
