Pair of 'en cabriolet' style chairs in Luigi Filippo style - Mid 19th Century.

Elegant pair of antique chairs in Luigi Filippo style (19th century), made of solid walnut wood (or similar high-quality wood) with the characteristic wavy and sinuous line of the period.

These chairs feature the classic 'balloon back' with a shaped top rail in a triple curve and an elegant central crossbar. The frame rests on stylish front cabriole legs, while the rear legs are slightly splayed to ensure maximum stability.

The seat is generously padded and upholstered with a fine floral damask fabric in shades of red and cream, finished along the edge with a border of metallic studs that accentuate its antique character.
