Chest of drawers - Polychrome wood - Venetian mid-20th century

Venetian-style dresser (or chest of drawers), characterized by a curved structure shaped on the front and sides, decorated with light lacquer and hand-painted with floral motifs and gold borders. This beautiful dresser, in the typical barocchetto or Venetian/rococo style, is made of wood, lacquered, and painted, featuring three very spacious drawers with bronze handles and curved legs known as 'cabriolet.' Although the style is typically eighteenth-century, this piece was crafted by skilled Italian cabinetmakers in the 1940s/1950s and has not undergone any restoration, making it completely original in every part, a unique piece of great value, and highly sought after.
