Description from the seller
Cruet silverplated
Europe, 19th or early 20th century.
Antique Silver-Plated Cruet Set with Glass Bottles – Late 19th / Early 20th Century
Elegant antique silver-plated cruet set, dating from the late 19th / early 20th century, featuring a classic and well-balanced design typical of European tableware of the period.
The set consists of a silver-plated metal stand with a decorated base and central handle, accompanied by two clear glass cruets originally intended for oil and vinegar. The stand displays refined lines and remains structurally stable, with an attractive aged patina.
Important condition note:
The glass cruets are damaged, showing visible cracks and/or chips (please see photos). The silver-plated stand itself is in good structural condition, with age-related wear consistent with its period.
Despite the damage to the glass bottles, this piece retains strong decorative and collectible appeal, and may also be of interest for restoration or for replacement with compatible glass cruets.
