Description from the seller
The Nostoceras Malagayense is the fossil of a shell with a very peculiar shape, characterized by a very wide siphonal chamber that first extends perpendicularly away from the spiral, then curves back and nearly closes underneath it. The striped pattern follows the entire growth of the shell, from the spiral to the chamber occupied by the animal.
Geographically, it was very widespread, with specimens found in Europe, Africa, and North America, while temporally, it dates back to the Campanian, between 66 and 72 million years ago.
