A large ornamental fossil of strong aesthetic impact, belonging to the species Douvilleiceras mammillatum, one of the most fascinating cephalopods of the Lower Cretaceous. The specimen has been carefully polished to highlight its spiral structure and surface details, emphasizing the complex natural architecture of the shell.
This ammonite stands out for its pronounced tubercles and dense ornamentation of nodose ribs, giving it an almost baroque appearance. The beige-brown coloration with pearlescent shades and mineralized veins creates an elegant and primitive visual balance.
