Ancient Roman marble front part of a sarcophagus dating to the 3rd century AD, 114 cm long, 33.5 cm high and 4.7 cm deep, in good condition with a vertical break on the right side and professionally restored, the central figure’s face partly lost; provenance from a private Parisian collection (François Antonovich), acquired in France before the 1970s, originating from an auction house and acquired in 2024, includes an authenticity certificate and a Spanish export license.

Ancient Roman, 3rd century AD.
Marble.
114 cm length, 33.5 cm height and 4.7 depth.
CONDITION: Good condition, presents a vertical break line on the right side, professionally restored. Due to scratches and wear, the face of the central figure has lost part of its physiognomy.
PROVENANCE: Private collection, François Antonovich, Paris, France. Acquired before the 1970's.

- The piece includes authenticity certificate.
- The piece includes Spanish Export License (Passport for European Union) - If the piece is destined outside the European Union a substitution of the export permit should be requested, can take between 1-2 weeks maximum.
