The label and brand are engraved with acid on the underside of the base by the German manufacturer: Scherzer 1880, as indicated by the visible mark on the sticker. Features a square design. History: the factory was founded in 1880 as Porzellanfabrik Zeh, Scherzer & Cie., initiated by Johann Nicol Adam Zeh, known as Hans, as a general partnership, and was dissolved in 1992, acquired by the financial investor Allerthal-Werke under the name Scherzer & Co.
