Royal Albert “Moss Rose” Side Plates – Bone China, England (c.1956)
A charming set of Royal Albert bone china side plates, decorated in the classic Moss Rose pattern and clearly dated c.1956, representing fine mid-20th-century English porcelain. The plates feature soft pink roses with delicate blue flowers and green foliage, arranged in an elegant circular floral garland on a creamy white ground, finished with fine gold gilt edging.
Each plate measures 16 cm in diameter, making them ideal for side dishes, desserts, or afternoon tea. The reverse bears the Royal Albert backstamp Bone China England – “Moss Rose” c.1956 Royal Albert Ltd, confirming authenticity and year of manufacture.
Condition:
Good vintage condition for pieces dating to 1956. No cracks, chips, or repairs observed. Light age-related wear may be present, consistent with careful use.
One saucer has a very small, minute black dot, barely noticeable and not visible under normal viewing conditions. (Last picture)
