This is not a brave souvenir set.
This is a powerful study collection of Russian matryoshka dolls.
Hand-painted wood from the Soviet period. Large in size. Heavy in appearance. This group revolves around graphics, color, and expression. Less sweet. More statement.
The brushwork is direct. The flowers are large and contrasting. The faces look at you. These are not decorative dolls for the background. These are objects that occupy space.
