Because my cameras and lenses are collectors items to me and I never used them with a film, I mark the cameras as “not tested”. However, functions such as shutter, rangefinder, light meter, mirror, etc. are checked for operation (not for accuracy) and lenses are judged by eye. From the description and test results can often be concluded whether the object could function properly, but I cannot give any guarantee on this.

DESCRIPTION
Leica If body, 1951, very rare black dial version, cosmetically and technically in very good condition, working, but not film tested. Original case included.

Less then 1200 black dial bodies are produced. An original body can be recognized by the black numbers, different time scale and serial number (between 562293 and 564200)

Leather: very good condition

TECHNICAL
Shutter: working, but speeds not checked
Curtains: good condition
Film transport: cocks the shutter, transport not film tested
