Gilera 106 SS - Vintage preserved
For sale, a splendid example of the Gilera 106 SS, an icon of Italian motorcycling from the 1960s. The motorcycle is presented in an authentic condition, ideal for a restorative conservation project or as a great base for a complete restoration.
Technical Data and Details
Engine: 106cc single-cylinder 4-stroke inclined forward, air-cooled. A legendary mechanical component known for its robustness and simplicity.
Bicycle frame: open double cradle frame made of steel tubes.
Suspensions: telescopic front fork with rubber protective bellows; double hydraulic shock absorber at the rear.
Braking system: lateral drum brakes on both the front and rear, typical of the period.
Car bodywork: original red drop-shaped tank with Gilera decals and black rubber knee pads.
Long two-seater saddle with a hint of a sporty tail.
