Description from the seller

Greek Coins of Sicily, Giulio Emanuele Rizzo, 1946 The State Library, Rome
One of the most important and costly works of numismatics, printed by the state typography in a 35 cm x 25 cm volume, this is one of the few special editions outside the commercial market. Made with Carta Umbria by the Miliani paper mill in Fabriano, featuring a gold-embossed spine, top and side edges, and a central figure on the cover. The condition of the volume is excellent, with white pages, no tears, and some slight ink stains (as shown in the photo) on a few pages.
Unfortunately, the second volume with the plates outside the text is missing, though it can be easily found in facsimile copy. Despite this, it remains an exceptionally valuable book due to the quality of the numismatic research presented on ancient Sicilian Greek coins and the precious, rare edition in Fabriano paper. In backlight, every two pages, you can observe the seals of the State typography that authenticates it.
