AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Rare Delft faience wall-mounted bouquetière from the 19th century. The decoration is very interesting, with painted movements: checkered cartels, shells, and deliberately asymmetrical scrolls, highlighting the exuberant ornamental repertoire of that era, affirming the rococo - rocaille style. The polychrome grand feu colors contrast with the central medallion painted in the manner of a miniature with meticulous pictorial detail and in blue monochrome. The central scene is heavily inspired by Dutch paintings. This piece, shaped like a flared basket, has a flat back with original holes for hanging on the wall. Overall good condition, very good state of the paintings, mark or signature on the back. Some chips and missing parts on the upper edges due to age. See photos. No restorations. A superb collectible piece.
Height: 11 cm, width: 22 cm, depth: approximately 11.3 cm. Weight: 643 grams.
Note that this decoration was found on an 18th-century flask shaped like a book — see illustration in the photographic description.
Careful packaging, suitable for the fragility of the item, and tracked shipment via Colissimo. (No shipping to the US).
