Description from the seller

Exceptional modular crystal table river set made of cut crystal from the prestigious Belgian crystal manufacturer Val Saint Lambert, originating from the historic line 'Service Moulé Valambert et Cristal', designed by renowned designers Charles Graffart and René Delvenne. This model appears in the legendary 1913 catalog, alongside iconic series such as 'Hambourg' and 'Diamants-Pierreries'.

Consisting of three elements in thick, heavy crystal, with a refined geometric pattern in faceted diamond cut motifs that produce an exceptional sparkle and captivating reflections.

- Two rotating elements (curves) to create the elegant turns of the river.
- A straight S-shaped element (or a long, sinuous straight one) to elongate the center of the table.

These components can be assembled to form a winding, sophisticated river on the table, or used separately as catch-all trays, bowls, or independent decorative objects.

Approximate dimensions
- Rotating elements: total width 175 mm × height 45 mm × depth 45 mm (weight approximately 550 g each)
- S element: total width 255 mm × height 45 mm × depth 45 mm (weight approximately 600 g)

Excellent condition for century-old pieces: crystal of perfect clarity, intact brilliance, with no chips or notable scratches. Only a few tiny micro-traces of use remind of their age and authentic history.

An opportunity to acquire a nearly complete Valambert 1913 set, a symbol of Belgian artisanal excellence from the early 20th century, during the transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. Perfect for collectors of antique crystal or enthusiasts of refined and historic decoration.

The lot will be shipped with extreme care, in reinforced and insured professional packaging.
