AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Vintage Seiko Double Sided Ship's Clock . Very Unique and Impressive

Original large vintage double-sided triangular cargo ship's clock, circa 1970s. These were originally slave clocks and were all connected to the the master clock in the captain’s cabin so that he could change the time of every clock on board as the boat entered a new time zone. These are now extremely rare and difficult to get hold of, at the time of writing we don’t expect to be able to procure any more of these beautiful timepieces.

A substantial and unusual clock with an air of Art Deco styling that looks great with so many interior styles, a unique addition to any room and a real talking piece.

Clean and then paint for a glossy black .

A small knob on the longest side of the triangular face turns to allow both clock faces to open out like a pair of wings, providing access to the clock mechanisms.
Originally run on the ship's mains electric which are incompatible with domestic systems, we have converted these to run on two reliable AA battery powered silent quartz mechanisms.

Dimensions - Height 28cm Width 24cm Depth 33cm (From Wall)

Backplate 24cm x 18 cm

Weight - 5kg

Runs on 2 x AA Batteries (not included)

Will be packaged well and shipped with Track & Trace
