Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Zenza Bronica ETR-C with Zenzanon 75mm f/2.8 lens, in reasonable condition and for parts only.
Description from the seller
Zenza Bronica ETR-C medium format camera, Zenzanon 75mm 2.8 with waist finder and winder
Offered is a Zenza Bronica ETR-C medium format camera (6×4.5), a popular modular camera system from Japan, known for its excellent build quality and very high image quality.
This set comes with:
Zenza Bronica ETR-C camera body
Zenzanon lens 75mm, 2.8
Angle finder – ideal for working from low or unusual angles.
Winder – for comfortable and faster transportation of the film.
State:
The camera and accessories are in reasonable condition, with normal signs of use appropriate for their age. A specific caveat should be noted here. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances related to this caveat, I must sell this camera as suitable for parts or display only.
- The prism of the angle finder has been damaged by the foam rubber that was behind the prism. (The foam has been removed) See the photo for reference. The angle finder is still usable, but the view through the scope is blurred. I do not know if the prism can be cleaned. Replacing it is an option.
- The camera was tested with film. See photos. At the same EV value, several shots were taken with different combinations of shutter speed and aperture. The shutter speeds appear unreliable. Additionally, the selection button for the shutter speeds does not click into place at the various settings. Therefore, there is a problem with the combination of lens and camera.
- The winder functions normally and well. There is a small issue with unlocking the winder on the camera. The 'open and close' works fine, but the unlocking security does not fully release and needs a little help with a fingernail or small screwdriver.
Furthermore, I have the impression that the transport of the film in the camera does not proceed evenly.
The camera is equipped with a 220 insert. This can, of course, be replaced with a 120 insert without any issues.
See the photos for a good impression of the condition; these are part of the description.
Further details
Modular system (interchangeable sight and accessories)
Suitable for 120/220 film (depending on filmback).
Very popular among analog photographers and collectors.
Is carefully packed and well protected during shipping.
