Monumental Antique Indian Haveli Door Cabinet – Rajasthan – ca. 1800 – Unique Statement Piece
Impressive and fully unique cabinet crafted from an original antique Indian Haveli door, originating from the Rajasthan region in Northern India. The door dates with high probability to the late 18th – early 19th century (circa 1750–1820).
The double doors are composed of dozens of deeply hand-carved wooden panels with floral motifs and fitted with original forged iron studs, hardware and traditional ring handles. The beautifully aged patina, weathered hardwood and heavy ironwork give this piece an exceptional historical presence.
The antique door has been professionally converted into a spacious storage cabinet while fully preserving its authentic appearance. The interior is in very good condition and fully functional. The wood used is recycled hardwood, completely in line with traditional craftsmanship.
