Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
German-made vintage ceramic lamp from the Bay / Scheurich / Dümler & Breiden style, dating to 1960–1970, in good vintage condition, complete with its original fabric shade and in working order.
Description from the seller
Large BOHO (FAT LAVA) ceramic lamp with original fabric shade – 1960s/70s. BRUTALIST.
Description
Very large vintage ceramic lamp from the 60s–70s, executed in a distinctive BOHO / mid-century style.
The lamp has a bulb-shaped ceramic foot with geometric relief and a characteristic speckled glaze in earth tones (brown, beige, and black). The glaze exhibits a beautiful light sheen, especially visible when light hits it.
The lamp is complete with the original, matching cylindrical fabric shade and forms a single unit; this is not a later assembled lamp.
The lamp is equipped with a capsule switch marked KUPP, indicating original electrification from the period.
Based on style, form, and glaze, this lamp can likely be attributed to the West German ceramic tradition, in the style of Bay / Scheurich / Dümler & Breiden (no maker's mark present, therefore no definitive attribution).
Due to its royal dimensions, this is a true statement lamp, suitable as a large table lamp or low floor lamp. Very decorative within a BOHO, eclectic, or mid-century interior.

Good vintage condition
Ceramic foot intact, no cracks or restorations.
Case with light signs of use and aging appropriate for its age.
