Description from the seller
BMW E30 316i Coupé, first registration on 19/04/1983, belonging to the very first generation of the E30 marketed from 1982.
Rare model, entirely original and in very good condition. I am the third owner. The car has always been parked in a private garage, protected from humidity and temperature fluctuations, and has always run on SP98. It is, of course, a non-smoker vehicle.
This is an unmodified example, kept in its original configuration, including paint (Metallic Blue Gray – Arktisblau Metallic), period BMW radio, and accessories. The original radio is fully functional.
Since purchasing the car in March 2022, I have driven 6,978 km, confirmed by the Car-Pass. The current total is 111,500 km.
The car is mechanically sound and functions perfectly. There is a total absence of rust, including underneath the bridge (see photo).
Complete maintenance carried out in November 2025, including (invoice attached):
Replacement of the left rear suspension arm (BMW OEM part).
Oil changes and filters
new battery
All replacements made exclusively with BMW parts.
The technical inspection is completely clear (December 11, 2025), and the car is ready to be registered immediately.
The new Bridgestone tires, replaced immediately upon purchase (with proof of purchase), have traveled 6,978 km.
The car is delivered with; its four original keys (see photo), an additional original BMW front grille, BMW wheel caps, the original BMW emergency tools (complete kit), a spare wheel, and a comprehensive file (invoices, Car-Pass, vintage BMW documents, history, and photos).
Reason for the sale: my family is going to grow, and I lack the time to take proper care of it.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
