Appearance

There are minor signs of use such as slight surface scuffs, but overall the lens is very clean. It shows little evidence of heavy use.

Optics

There is a very small amount of fungus at the edge of the front element, which can be confirmed in the photos. This is extremely minor and has no effect on captured images. Under strong professional light, very slight haze can be observed. This is a common age-related condition for lenses of this era and also does not affect image quality.

We inspect the optics using extremely strong professional lighting that would be unsafe to view directly with the naked eye. This allows us to provide more accurate optical details than typical sellers.

Functionality

There is a slight operating sound from the focus ring during autofocus. This is a normal age-related characteristic for lenses of this generation, and the lens functions perfectly.
