Seventeen vintage wood chisels in steel, dating to the 1950s–1960s, from diverse brands; hand‑sharpened and used, with signs of age and light stains.
Description from the seller
Lot of 17 vintage wood chisels – various brands and models
This beautiful lot of 17 vintage woodworking chisels consists of a varied selection of different brands, widths, and models, suitable for both fine work and rough driving and chopping tasks. The chisels come from a craft workshop and clearly bear the marks of years of professional use.
All chisels have been ground by feel and by hand by an experienced woodworker. They are sharp and functional, but not factory-perfect or machine-straight—just as one would expect from authentic, hand-sharpened tools. Small variations in bevel angle, symmetry, and finish are part of their character and history of use.
The wooden handles exhibit a beautiful, well-worn patina, with signs of use that attest to intensive and careful use. Some chisels still bear visible maker's marks or stamps, which makes this lot extra interesting for enthusiasts of traditional hand tools.
