Description from the seller

Exceptional set of 3 curved elements for a modular table river in cut crystal from the prestigious Belgian crystal manufacturer Val Saint Lambert. These pieces are part of the historic line 'Valambert', designed by renowned designers Charles Graffart and René Delvenne, and appear in the legendary 1913 catalog – alongside iconic series such as 'Hambourg' and 'Diamants-Pierreries'.

The refined geometric pattern with diamond-cut facets creates an exceptional sparkle and captivating reflections. The three elements feature different curves for a fluid and customizable composition:
- Two elements with medium curvature: each weighing approximately 550 g.
An element with a more pronounced curvature: weight approximately 500 g, total length 17 cm.

Approximate dimensions per element
Total width: approximately 20 cm
Height: 45 mm

The element with the least pronounced curvature still bears its original Luxval label (well preserved and visible in the photos), a valuable testament to authenticity and provenance.

Very good condition for century-old pieces: crystal of perfect clarity, with intact brilliance, no chips or notable scratches. Only a few tiny micro-traces of use remind of their age and authentic history.

A rare opportunity to acquire three complementary pieces from the Valambert 1913 series, symbols of Belgian artisanal excellence from the early 20th century, at the transition between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Perfect for recreating an elegant river of table or as decorative standalone catch-all trays.

The lot will be shipped with extreme care, in reinforced and insured professional packaging.
