Magnificent pair of antique frames, made of carved wood and gilded with gold leaf, featuring a rich rocaille decoration typical of the Louis XV style, revisited in the 19th century.
The baguette is adorned along its entire perimeter with finely chiseled relief motifs: stylized shells at the corners and centers, interlacing foliage, scrollwork, and pearls, with an inner groove decorated with a ribbon and reparure. The gilding displays a beautiful patina of age, with areas of natural wear that highlight the authentic and antique character of the piece, without major alterations.
This frame, ideal for showcasing a painting, mirror, or antique engraving, evokes the elegance of classic French interiors.
