Description from the seller

SPAIN. Madrid. 2 Pesetas. 1905. Alfonso XIII (1886–1931)

Value: 2 Pesetas.
Year: 1905.
Reign: Alfonso XIII (1886–1931).
Inscriptions: ALFONSO XIII by the Grace of God on the obverse with a bust of the young king facing left; CONSTITUTIONAL KING OF SPAIN on the reverse with a crowned shield quartered, Hercules' columns with the motto PLUS ULTRA, and the value 2 PESETAS.
Status: No Circular.

Silver coin from the era of Alfonso XIII depicted as a young monarch, one of the most appreciated series in contemporary Spanish numismatics. The obverse features an elegant and well-proportioned portrait of the king, with fine detail in the hair and uniform, while the reverse displays the national shield with great heraldic richness, flanked by the columns of Hercules, symbol of Spain's historical projection. The specimen retains an attractive light silver tone, with well-defined reliefs and balanced fields, offering a very harmonious presentation that is highly representative of the silver issues from the early 20th century.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I ship from Spain. This means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs, and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.
