Description from the seller
Set of six dessert plates, crafted by the renowned English house Royal Albert and executed in the classic decor 'Trillium.' The design is a prime example of neoclassical table setting, where symmetry, harmony, and understated luxury are central.
The plates are made of fine bone china, renowned for its light weight, translucency, and soft ivory hue. The decoration is intentionally understated and balanced: centrally placed Trillium flowers with three bright white petals are framed by delicately deep green leaves, subtly drawn with natural veining. These botanical elements are not exuberant but carefully measured, creating a sense of calm and order — an essential characteristic of the neoclassical style.
The ridged edge refers to classical architectural forms such as columns and reliefs, while the fine real gold edge acts as a discreet framing that elevates the whole without overpowering. The emptiness of the porcelain surface plays an equally important role as the decoration itself, giving the plates a timeless and stately appearance.
With their neoclassical design — no excess, but balance, symmetry, and refinement — these plates are a must-have for enthusiasts of quality boards.
The boards are unique due to, among other things, the botanical precision inspired by classical botanical illustrations.
The decor and design are perfectly coordinated. These beautiful plates are suitable for both functional and collectible objects.
The Trillium-decor embodies the neoclassical reevaluation of nature and form, where beauty arises from simplicity and proportion.
These plates are ideal for cakes, pastries, or desserts, but also make a valuable addition to a serious collection of English porcelain.
