A plate with a monochrome blue decoration featuring a flying putto at the center, surrounded by an orientalizing decoration with two cottages and a sailing ship.
Diameter of 32.5 cm and height of 4.2 cm, in good condition with a slight restoration on the top right edge (see photo).
Published and exhibited at the exhibition 'White and Blue: Five Centuries of Great Ligurian Ceramics' Milan 2004, published by Skira, and previously published and exhibited at the exhibition 'Ancient Savona Majolica' Savona 1989.
