Vintage photo album with contemporary photographs of Elvis Presley from his time as a U.S. Army soldier in Germany in 1960.

The album contains several original black-and-white photographs from the time of their creation, showing Elvis Presley in U.S. Army uniform. In several images, the name tag 'PRESLEY' and the 'U.S. ARMY' patch are clearly visible.

The recordings originate from his stationing period in Bad Nauheim / Friedberg (Hesse) and depict both private and semi-public scenes, including close-ups, encounters with civilians, and everyday situations.

These are original prints (silver gelatin) from the period – no reproductions or later prints.
A contemporary German newspaper article is also included with the album, documenting encounters with Elvis Presley and historically contextualizing several of the scenes depicted. This emphasizes the authenticity and temporal placement of the album.

These photos are unique.

The album is a family heirloom of Hannelore Reinke.
The photos were taken in 1960 in Bad Nauheim.
Even Hannelore Reinke was included. She was my mother's sister.
