Description from the seller
Germany. Prussia. Berlin. 3 Mark. 1911. Wilhelm II (1888–1918)
Value: 3 Mark
Year: 1911.
Reign: Guillermo II (1888–1918).
- Inscriptions: WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSSEN surrounding the bust of the emperor in profile to the right on the obverse; DEUTSCHES REICH · 1911 · DREI MARK on the reverse, with the crowned imperial eagle and central shield.
- Rating: Without circular.
Silver coin of the German Empire belonging to the regular 3 Mark series issued during the reign of Wilhelm II. The obverse features a realistic and sober portrait of the emperor, with excellent modeling of the hair and the characteristic mustache, conveying authority and solemnity. The reverse shows the German imperial eagle with outstretched wings, richly detailed in the plumage and with a powerful heraldic ensemble symbolizing the unity of the Reich. The specimen retains an attractive light silver tone with a slight uniform patina, well-defined reliefs, and balanced fields, offering a very harmonious presentation that is highly representative of the great German imperial coinages of the early 20th century.
