Description from the seller

A subtle classic from the rich tradition of English tableware: these plates from Wedgwood's Stratford series combine timeless elegance with a palpable high-quality finish.
The plates are made from heavy-duty creamware (Queen’s Ware), a high-quality fine earthenware for which Wedgwood is renowned worldwide. Weighing approximately 250 grams each, they feel solid and robust, demonstrating durability and craftsmanship. The warm, cream-white surface creates a beautiful contrast with the refined ivy decoration, which runs along the edge of the plate like an elegant wreath.

The classic EDME model, recognizable by its characteristic ridged edge, gives these plates their balanced shape and timeless appearance. Thanks to the 18 cm size, they are ideally suited as breakfast, lunch, or dessert plates.

A stylish example of mid-20th-century English design, loved by collectors and ideal for those who value quality, tradition, and an elegantly set table.
