Spectacular antique frame made of solid wood, decorated with stucco and gilded with gold leaf.
With a significant front thickness of 11 cm, it presents itself as scenographic, beautiful in appearance and shape. Its main feature is the stunning and enormous raised decorations, meticulously handcrafted by master artisans of the era. These decorations evoke the evocative sensation of a splendid floral and foliate intertwining, with scrolls that flutter around the cascade-like frame.
The inner part is composed of a broad profile carved with diamonds and flowers that enhance its depth, and finally, the innermost part features a smooth border that increases its charm and originality.
The 6 cm side profile is composed of step-like notches.
This is a rare frame, an antique masterpiece, a difficult-to-find piece weighing 2.5 kg. It is exceptional for enhancing and displaying works of high prestige.
